[The WebGL demo looks bad, REALLY BAD... but it's not how the game actually looks. I'm having issues with Shader Graph that prevent me from building to WebGL, so the web browser version of Pathmaker will have significantly worse graphics while I figure out how to solve this issue. The PC version is unaffected.]

Pathmaker is a multiplayer parkour shooter game, in which up to four players fight alongside or against each other using a variety of diverse weaponry.

This is a VERY work-in-progress prototype. I’m just one programmer, and it’ll take a long time for this project to reach full playability, though I do intend on seeing this through to the finish line.

Current features include...

  • Four-player multiplayer, with keyboard and Xbox controller support!
  • PvP Deathmatch gamemode.
    • The winner is whoever gets the target kill count first...
    • ...or has the most kills when the timer runs out.
  • Break the Targets mode.
    • ...with one map.
  • Wide range of weapons, from guns to swords to gauntlets.
  • ONE PvP map!
  • ONE Time Trial!
  • TWO Boss Fights!
  • Over twenty-five playable characters!

  • PvE Robot Survival, in which four players take on an endless army of robots.
  • Singleplayer parkour stages?
  • Stage Builder?
  • More maps.
  • More weapons.
  • More characters.
  • PlayStation and Switch controller support.

-= ABILITIES =-

You have a plethora of abilities to move about the stage at your leisure.

  • A 'Double Jump' that refills with enough time on the ground.
  • 'Sprinting' that lets you close the gap on opponents.
  • 'Wall Running' for three-dimensional movement.
  • 'Mantling' for when you barely make it to the ledge.
  • 'Vaulting' for easily traversing fences.
  • 'Wall Climbing', because nowhere is safe.

-= WEAPONS =-

When the combat starts, you'll need the proper equipment.

  • Pistol - Reliable firearm that can stack into a pair of Dual Pistols.
  • Suppressed Pistol - More accurate pistol that hides your location from enemies.
  • Double Barrel Shotgun - Double-shot shotty that obliterates anything at point blank range.
  • The Dub (Fortnite) - A modified Double Barrel Shotgun with much, MUCH greater recoil.
  • Assault Rifle - A long ranged weapon for taking down opponents from afar.
  • Sicko Blaster (Travis Scott) - An astronomical hybrid weapon that acts as a shotgun and a burst-fire assault rifle.
  • Pump Shotgun - A medium-range shotgun that takes a while to reload.
  • Drum Gun - A higher-ammo submachine gun that suffers from wide bloom.
  • Stinger Sniper Rifle - A custom-designed sniper rifle that leaves behind clouds of corrosive gas.
    • A real scope interface will be added later, but it's completely usable.
  • Rocket Launcher - A shoulder-mounted RPG launcher that somehow fits four rockets into one tube.
  • Rocket Jumper (Team Fortress 2) - A special Rocket Launcher that does zero damage.
  • ARMR Cannon - An arm cannon that allows for charge shots.
  • Minigun - A colossal chaingun that's too big to keep in your inventory.
  • ARMR G3D4N - Destroys everything in it's path... but it uses health as ammo.
  • Bathmaker - A soap blaster for all your cleaning- wait, what?
  • Palutena Bow (Kid Icarus) - A divine bow that can split apart into a pair of swords.
  • Dual Katanas - A pair of lightweight swords that can deflect bullets.
  • Kinetic Blade (Fortnite) - A large sword that knocks opponents away, or lets you jump towards them.
  • Kinetic Gauntlets - A pair of electrically-charged gloves that allow for light-speed wall bouncing for a risky, but deadly punch.
  • Shock Sai - A pair of electric sai that can be thrown at enemies, before returning to your hands.
  • Riot Baton - A one-handed weapon that can knock enemies away from you.
  • Riot Shield - A see-through shield that can be used in conjunction with one-handed weapons.
  • Chargin' Targe (Team Fortress 2) - A spiked shield that allows for charging shield-bash attacks.
  • Vibranium Shield (Marvel) - An indestructible shield that obscures your view when blocking, but it can be used as a weapon.
  • Gandalf's Staff (The Lord of the Rings) - A powerful magical staff that can be planted in the ground to assist you and your teammates.
  • Waterbending (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - The power to throw water for sluggish but powerful long-ranged attacks, and to use the ocean itself as a platform to strike enemies from afar.
  • Earthbending (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - The power to move the earth around you for offence and mobility.
  • Firebending (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - The power to manipulate fire for powerful medium-ranged attacks.
  • Airbending (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - The power to use the air around you for mobility, and an air glider to soar through the sky.
  • Pogo Stick - A simple and fun device that lets you bounce back from a fall.
  • ODM Gear (Attack on Titan) - Specialist equipment that allows for combat in a three-dimensional space.
  • Chaos Emeralds (Sonic the Hedgehog) - Increase your Stamina and Double Jump regeneration rate, and you can collect all seven to attain a limited-time Super State!
    • The Chaos Emeralds are enabled through the Match Settings, rather than the Lootpool Editor.

If you're looking to spice up your gameplay, stronger 'modded' versions of certain weapons exist in the lootpool settings.

-= NOTABLE ISSUES =-

  • This game was only programmed with Xbox controllers in mind, so PlayStation and Switch players might experience some major input problems. Running this through Steam's Input System can fix this.
  • There's no way for a player to 'drop out' of the game yet.
  • There will probably be some severe balance issues, particularly regarding movement speed.
  • The WebGL version may have some minor issues, but they shouldn't reduce the game's playability.
